That might be a little heavy for Anderson. By the time I'm done losing my gainz through my internship, I might be back with Keo at 148.

165 would probably be your best bet. It would be a very easy cut to make.

I would just go 165. If you miss weight, then they'll just put you at 181.

Is it too late to get on board for the meet? I have never competed before, or even been to a meet. I don't really know much about the weight classes or how that works.

No, certainly not. I'd like to have a roster finalized by the beginning of April, so there's plenty of time to decide.

Awesome. Unless something ridiculous happens, like I break my leg, I would definitely be interested in coming along.

Except, seeing as its so close, I'd be lucky if I got 1025+...which is a tid bit sad.

Don't worry to much about where your total is compared to others. Just getting on the platform will get you the respect of most everyone there. Powerlifting meets are very inviting venues, everyone is cheering for you to hit PR's regardless if they are competing against you or not. It's more of a competition against yourself. If you can have a good time and set a PR or two, then it is a good day.

Good to hear. I have never maxed out like that before, should a fun time. I'm already psyched, I've always wanted to go to one, let alone compete in one.

Just don't bomb out in your first meet like I did. feelsbadman.jpg

Haha, bomb out, not pass out. Bombing out is failing at all three attempts on a lift; you can't get a total and your meet is usually over at that point.

95% certain, but there's plenty of time for people to change their minds.
