Interview with KRUI, Monday, 5-6pm

Club member Konnor Scanlon has reached out to me in regards to doing an interview about the club with KRUI on Monday. However, the show would be from 5-6pm, and I have a class/exam during that time. While I have talked to my professor about taking the exam at a different time, and I am allowed to do so, I would rather not--the class is also going to include a guest speaker that I really don't want to miss.


So, I am looking for a club member who could do this interview and go on the radio show. Again, this is Monday from 5-6pm. If we can't find a replacement, I can do it, but for the reasons above, I would like somebody else to go. Also, this is a good opportunity for another member in the club to fill a great task for us.

I would like whoever does this interview to have at least one (and preferably all, to be honest) of these characteristics:

1. Has competed in a powerlifting meet
2. Has been a member since at least last spring
3. Is a current or previous officer in the club

This way, whoever is doing the interview can give some really good answers and is well-informed about our club and the sport of powerlifting. I think we have a solid amount of people who could do a great job with this, and hopefully we get some good volunteers for this.


I would like whoever wants to do this to post here or contact me via email/Facebook/whatever by Sunday afternoon at the latest. Sooner would be better on this.

Srs? I got an email from him last night, this can wait until another week, if need be. It's not as though we will miss the opportunity if it doesn't get done Monday.

I can do it if nobody else can but I would rather write a lab report and study for an exam due Wednesday.

In that case, I will try to do it next Monday. I don't want this to impact people's academics.

I admit that I am open at this time; I just prefer for someone else to do it. Maybe someone at the meeting will be able to volunteer.

I talked to Konnor and he said next Monday is fine. He also said that we can have multiple people in the studio for the show. So, Poage, if it works for you, both of us can do it next Monday.
