Reverse-Band Squat (almost nothing at top, ~120 lbs. at bottom)
Barx5
Barx5
135x3
225x3
275x3
315x3
365x3
405x3
455x3
465x3
475x3

Standing Goodmornings
Barx5
135x10
135x8
135x8

I just did some reverse-band squatting to work on my depth and take some time off from wearing wraps. The bands obviously help me a lot more than the knee wraps do, and all of these sets were easy; I squatted deeper than usual and felt like I could have gotten a few more reps on even the set of 475. My strength coming out of my sticking point on my squats is really good right now.

I've been so busy with club stuff that I haven't logged in a week. Let me just say that I've been up and down this week, but my energy's been way down the last few weeks, and it showed during my awful last training session:

Squat
Barx5
Barx5
135x3
225x1
275x1
315x1
365x1
410x4
410x4
410x4

Box Squat
135x10
225x10
225x10

I was supposed to do 410x6x4, but I just didn't have it in me, so I cut both sets and reps by 25-30%.

MMx10, Mx10
MMx10, Mx10
MMx10, Mx10
MMx10, Mx10
MMx28

For this cycle, I'm going back to doing some heavy repetition work for my deadlift. Today I did some five-rep sets, working up to a five-rep PR of 500x5. Though I took some pretty long breaks between these reps, I don't give a fuck--the reps at least felt fast and solid, and I got a lot of good work in. I can tell that I have no endurance on my deadlift, however, so the repetition work might do me some good.

In the future, I might do one cycle of repetition work, followed my one cycle of squat variant singles training. Introducing more higher-rep deadlift sets probably wouldn't hurt, provided it's done in moderate doses.

I'll take you guys on at cartwheels in addition to foot races. Back in the day I used to do tumbling.

Long story short: I was locked out of my old youtube account because the security was compromised, and getting access to it requires answer a password question that I came up with when I made an aol screen name in high school. Therefore, I'm starting a new account--with my real name--and trying a new video format out by offering commentary on these.

Also, I did my training session, then decided to do the exact same fucking thing.

Must have been a weird copy/paste job from another forum. Guess what my username over there is...
