I guess if you're serious about pullups and dips it makes sense. A good powerlifting belt runs you around the same price.

Spud typically has a lifetime warranty on the straps and i think their belts (not certain on the belts) so you are paying quite a bit for an extremely high quality product. I do not know of anyone breaking their spud belt/straps

$40, and almost certainly more durable than...well, just about anything else on the market. With a lifetime warranty as mentioned.

11/26-

Press-
105x5
115x5
2x10@125
125x18- wraps on

Wide(r) grip press-
3x5@140- wraps off

Weighted pullups- a bunch
Band pull-aparts- a lot
Curlz- a bunch

Notes: 125x18 was easy. Moved my grip out a couple inches to get dem boulder shoulderz. I also played around with my grip technique (i.e. how the bar sits in my hands and lines up with my elbows) and I ended up liking the change in bar path quite a bit. This is something I haven't paid much attention to for either my press or my bench--I think tweaking this as I go on will help out a good bit. Then I did the typical assistance work. Nothing special.

If you think neon yellow is ugly, I'll buy you a Spud belt, dye it whatever color you want, and then you can pay my the extra $50 you would spend on the one you posted. After all, I still gotta do Christmas shopping.

2x5@205

11/30-

Deadlift-
2x10@335

Deficit deads (two 25lb bumper plates)
1x2@335
2x2@365
1x2@405
1x6@405- straps on

Shrugs-
6x3@405
1x10@405

GHR-
3x15

Notes: Fairly quick session, all things considered. The main deadlift weights are the exact same as last week--the first two weeks of this peaking cycle are the same. Weight starts going up fairly quickly in the coming weeks. So excite.

This was also my last training session at 20 years of age.

Creatine, whey, ZMA, and noopept.

On the subject of supplements, my brother gave me a container of ANS Ritual preworkout. It looks like your typical beta alanine supplement. I'm not too big into preworkouts so it might be for sale. It's almost entirely full and is green apple flavor. Goes for about $33 on bodybuilding.com. If anybody is interested, I would probably let it go for $25 or so.

12/3-

Bench-
135x5
165x3
190x1
205x15- touch and go

Wide grip paused bench-
205x3
225x3
235x3
240x3

Pullups- a bunch, mostly weighted
Band pull aparts- a lot

Notes: Elbows are feeling better and better. Video is being uploaded as I type. 205x15 calculates to rep PR, and I believe I only got 205x12 or something last cycle.

12/4-

Squat-
225x5
255x3
300x1
320x15

Good mornings-
4x10@135

Super wide grip pullups- a bunch

Notes: I only got 315 for like 12 reps last cycle, so I am pretty damn happy about this. I had a couple left in the tank in all likelihood, and every rep was to depth as far as I can tell. I did get a bit forward on my toes every now and then, which can be fixed with just a couple cues. This calculates to a 479 max.

And with these last two days, my bench and squat training maxes go to 280 and 450, respectively.

12/5-

Press-
95x5
115x3
130x1
140x15

BTNPP-
95x3
115x3
2x3@135
3x3@155
165x3
175x2
2x1@185
2x1@200

Curlz- x100
HS rows- 3x20

Notes: Easy set of 15 for the AMRAP. Press max moves to 195. Played around with some behind the neck push pressing. I fucking suck at anything overhead that isn't a strict barbell press. I need to fix this.

12/6-

Squat-
2x8@300

Bench-
2x8@200

Deadlift-
2x8@350

Notes: This is what happens when you skip days early in the week and have a drill weekend.

12/9-

Bench-
5x8@185, first/last rep paused

Wide grip bench, all paused-
205x4
225x5
235x4

Wide grip pullups
Neck work
Shoulder external rotation work

Notes: Pretty good day. Bar speed felt good on just about everything.

12/10-

Squat-
5x8@295
315x2
345x2
365x2

GHR
Barbell rows

Notes: Work sets felt good except for the last one. My walkout just wasn't quite right and the set just felt wonky. My left side was dropping down a bit and shit just felt off. The doubles afterwards felt good, if a bit slow.

12/11-

Press-
5x8@130

Wide(r) grip press-
145x3
155x3
165x3

Press (back to normal grip)-
165x1
175x1
2x1@185

Super wide grip pullups-
5x5

Curlz- 1x50
Face pulls- 3x15

Notes: Sluggish and weak day today. 130 has never felt heavier. I put the wraps on for the last two sets and I still felt meh. The last set was the best of the day. I felt like crap so I put more weight on the bar to make it better. The first single at 185 was probably my best rep all day. The second was a bit slower and I called it a day.

12/12-

Squat-
2x8@320
355x3
2x1@375
wraps on
405x2
455x2

Notes: Failed on the third rep at 455. I was sore as shit coming in today. My goal was to squat until I couldn't. I achieved that goal, although I could have gone farther before failing if I had been more intelligent about it. Today was not a good day for me.

For your first wrapped day in a while, that's still a very solid showing. I wouldn't be too down about it.

Bench, all paused-
2x8@210

Fat gripz bench, all paused-
210x2
225x2
235x2
245x2
255x2

Weighted pullups- a lot
Curlz- a fuckton
Dips- a lot

Notes: Decent day. Elbow was a bit achy by the middle of the fat gripz work, but nothing too bad. Looking forward to pulling tomorrow.
