Hey man it was really nice meeting you at the CRWC the other day. And it looks like you're doing a great job sticking to your program.

Really good day in the gym today. Shoulder is still a bit sore so I wasn't able to do much with military press but it is getting better everyday. I dropped my dead lift weight down a bit to focus more on form (bringing bar closer to shins and getting more hip drive in to the bar) with a few critiques on squats and dead lifts things are looking and feeling better.

Judging from your numbers it looks like your shoulder is feeling better, no? Just curious, are you planning to attend the bench/squat/deadlift seminar on Sunday? You may be able to get some valuable input if you can make it. If not, I'm sure you'll continue to get input from a lot of the people on the team as you feel like you need it.

I've haven't had a lot of time to keep my log updated lately but I first want to start by thanking Chris, Kyle and Nate for all the help they were able to give last Sunday and it helped tremendously this week.

3-7-14
Squat - 140X5 150X5 160X5 170X6 180X5
Bench - 115X5 felt like there was some problems so just waited until sunday
Row - 115X5X5

3-11-14

Squat - 170X5X5 back and shoulders felt much better, also avoided bringing head back
Bench - 95X5 105X5 115X5 125X5 135X5 went through full body checklist and results were clearly improved
Row - 115X5

3-14-14

Squat - 160X5X5
Dead lift - 185X5X5 Dropped my weight down to focus on technique. kept the bar to my shins and knees and avoided tilting back on lockout. Felt a lot better overall and will probably pick up from this weight before getting back to 235.
Pull ups - body weight + 20lbsX4X5

3-20-14

Squats - 165X5X5

Dead lifts - 205X3X5 I had to cut these short because I tore open my shin and felt that it would be better for me to stop than continue to bleed and have people stare. I was pissed too because these were really good sets.

BB Military - 85X5X5

Pull ups - BW+25lbsX4X5 1X3

3-23-14

Squats - 150X5 160X5 170X5 180X5 190X5

Bench - 125X5X5

Rows - 120X5X5

Good day for squats, I have never squatted 190 before and to get 5 reps felt pretty good. I can feel I am getting close to 225.

3-25-14

Squat - 185X5 185X5 185X4 185X4 185X2

I probably should have dropped down to 180 but I still felt good getting this many sets out of 185.

Bench - 95X5 105X5 115X5 125x5 135X5

getting up to 135 has been shaky so I wanted to be more confident before I went over that and today 135 felt pretty good and I think I am ready to bump up next week.

Rows - 125X5X5

Since the seminar, my dead lift has felt much better and although it goes against my programming a little I wanted to see what I good do. 225 felt good so I went to 250, then 275 and finally to 300. Definitely a PR for me and I didn't want to push it after that. I have to say seeing numbers like that really make me feel like I am finally getting somewhere and of course keep me chasing higher numbers.
