How's Wendler going? Are you going to do the deload week? I think I'm going to skip my first one and take the next one.

I really like it so far. I'm on week two, I haven't thought about that yet. So what's your plan? Keep increasing or start all over the cycle again?

I'm going to increase for cycle two (which starts tomorrow) and then do the scheduled deload. Then I'll go from there and see how I'm feeling for cycle three... maybe increase again, maybe do cycle 2 again.

OHP
5x100lbs
5x115lbs
5x130lbs

5x10x80lbs

I would like to get someone's feedback on something.
I'm currently weighting 186lbs and I would like to get back to where I was in april at 165lbs (good ol' days). I've been eating healthier and watching my diet again but Im kind of stuck. Here is what I am planning to do:

Week 1 and 4 of 5/3/1 be more aggressive cutting the amount of calories I eat since these two weeks are fairly easy.
Week 2 and 3 eat the way I've been eating which so far has work for my lifting and keeps my weight at about the same.

Comment, go.

Are you planning on doing the quad-weekly (I know there has to be an accurate term for this, but hopefully this gets the point across) deload week as 5/3/1 was originally written?

I think your plan makes decent enough sense. You could incorporate carb cycling on your heavy weeks as well.

Yes, I didn't deload last cycle but I will from this one on. I'll look into carb cycling, I've never done that before. thanks.

Bench press
5x170lbs (forgot I only needed 3 reps)
3x295lbs
4x220lbs

5x10x125lbs

After four weeks with 5/3/1 this was the first time where I didn't feel like I suck horribly at benching. I had a more control bar trajectory and did one additional rep on my heaviest set. I kept forgetting to pause at the bottom but overall it felt ok.

Squats
3x240lbs
3x275lbs
7x310lbs (rep PR) Pretty much cardio.

5x10x170lbs

Best squat day of my life. I've been messing up with my stance but I found the right set up, finally. My feet are about two inches closer than they used to be and pointing almost straight forward. It felt a bit slower than usual but super controlled, strong and smooth all the way throughout the lift. Before I always kind of struggle on the last bit of the lift, once I was out of the hole and roughly 45 degrees above parallel it would feel super heavy, not this time.

Squats
5x260lbs
3x295lbs
4x330lbs

The camarographer didn't know you have to squat down when recording someone who is squatting. I think my first rep was a bit high, I leaned forward on that one. As for the rest is hard to tell from the angle but it felt like I was bouncing out of the hole so I think they were good. This was my first time squatting with my SBDs. It was a real struggle to get them on.

Any thoughts?

I'll watch later on my laptop, but did you do the fold trick to get them on?
