For anyone that has not heard or seen.
People are saying he tore his patella off his knee. If that is the case he will be out for a while. People take months if not a year plus to recover from this injury.

Sounds like he broke his kneecap in half. Wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Patella broken in half, distal and proximal patellar tendons torn, and possible ligament damage in both knees is what I have seen. A lot of these things are often reported worse than what they really are, though, but this is--no doubt about it--a very serious injury.
