It's a good, small meet, definitely a good idea for a first meet. I'm going to put together a roster of names and weight classes here. I'll list Janis and myself to start, and I'm 99.9% sure you other guys are going:
ROSTER 114 Janis Finkelman 148 Kyle Keough 165 Nate Poage (148? 165? 181? SHW?) 198 Chris Anderson Seth Thompson Monty Mohamed (181? 198?) 220 Kevin Alvarez (198? 220?) 242 George Foutris
Team alum Big Dawg should also be making the trip to compete with us on this day.

| I'm still up in the air about my weight class. If' i'm reasonably close I'll go 165, but if I'm like 175+ by that time, 181. Could the Big Dawg possibly bring back any lifting paraphernalia he has with him along with my book? | |

| Im pretty positive I'll be staying at 198. I've been weighing in around 200 consistently and I'd rather have my total move up then have a 20 lb cut lol. | |

| yeah, if we just keep me away from the onion rings, I should make 114. Actually, I'm usually only around 110-112, so I should maybe eat my way up to 114 via bacon and onion rings. Onion rings wrapped in bacon. Battered and fried bacon mixed in with onion rings. | |

| Also, I noticed that the meet date has changed. It used to be the 13th. If you have this on a calendar or in your phone, make sure you have the right date. | |

| How many does it look like we will be taking down all together and how many to compete? Is there any way we could get a roster up of who is all going? | |

| I've got a preliminary list, Seth. I'll get it updated today. We're probably looking at around 15 coming down, with 12-13 competing. |

| ROSTER 114 Janis Finkelman 148 Kyle Keough 165 Caleb Byers 181 Monty Mohamed Nate Poage Frank Montalto (181/198) 198 Chris Anderson Seth Thompson 220 Kevin Alvarez Joey Fazekas (220/242) 242 George Foutris
Tanner Creery and Luke Byers (Caleb's brother, with some experience) will be competing, but I don't know their weight classes yet. That means we have thirteen lifters competing, plus possiby Logan if he decides to compete. We also have a few people--Brian Albert, Miguel Cerritos, Bryant Medhus, and Austin Harris--coming down just to watch and help out, which will be GREAT for us. I'll talk to those guys again to get an idea of any might be just unsure about competing, but I know at least a couple just want to come watch and help out.
I'll have Janis send out an e-mail reminder tonight to everyone about Sunday's seminar. | |

| Sounds like we have a good sized group. This will be great for University of Iowa Powerlifting I can't wait. | |
