TNG Bench Warmups 365x1 385x1 410x1 435x1 PR
Notes: 435 was a grind for sure, but there might be a little more there still. Going to consider 440 next week, but will probably just start training my pause bench for the UPA meet in 5 weeks. Had a little trouble today deciding what jumps to make getting to 435. I think 25 lb jumps worked fine. Usually only do 20 lb jumps.

TNG Bench Warmups 375x4 375x4 375x3 missed the fucking 4th 375x3 missed the fucking 4th
Dips
Notes: Fucking irritated with the performance. Probably my body saying "fuck it" after the weekend I put it through. Probably go to 4x3 with 380 next week. Changing my volume day might be necessary considering being 5 weeks out from competition, but I don't know how to do that. Input is welcome.

Deadlift Warmups 455x2 455x2 455x1
Not impressive numbers, but a good start to a quick cycle that will hopefully have me peaking for the competition and hitting a PR.

| If I got as many compliments about my biceps from girls as I did with guys, I would be getting laid a lot more than the whole never that I get now. The weird part is that my biceps aren't that big.
I just need to get a beard like Poage's and then drown in the buttpussy.

| Between my beard and what muscle mass I have the man love is ridiculous compared to women. Might be time to start chasing fat girls. | |

| damn son. That 475 was silky smooth. Depth was perfect. Speed was perfect. You got 500 in you easily. What kinda wraps were you using for that attempt? I haven't seen those before | |

Deadlift Warmups 405x1 455x1 485x1 505x1 535x1 PR
Notes: First time going really heavy on deadlift in a long time. Went really well. Sam and Brian decided that I needed to do 535 instead of 525 without my consent, but it still went. There was a hitch at the top, but I don't give a fuck. It was small and I just need a little work on my lockout.

| Damn, that 535 was a little smoother than I was hoping it would be. Looked like you could have locked it out without hitching it. 550 shouldn't be an issue for you at the meet. I don't like having your best deadlift only 15 lbs behind mine. I need to figure out what to do about that. | |

Paused bench Warmups 345x2 365x2 385x2 405x1 420xIm a pussy and missed it.
Notes: This really pissed me off. I failed in my normal spot like an inch from lockout. As far as excuses go, I'm having some issues with school that are really stressing me the fuck out and my car was having some issues over the past couple days (fixed now, i hope). Aside from that, I just couldn't get into position like I wanted to. Breathing was wrong, set up was wrong, and form failed me. I did PR my squat and deadlift this week though. All 3 in one week would be a surprise, I guess. Just going to try and get back at it on Monday.
Any input as to how I should handle my last 4 bench sessions before the meet is welcomed. Squat and deadlift as well. Only 2 of those left.

| If it was me, I'd keep the intensity fairly high on your heavy days but resist the urge to go for PRs or rep PRs. I think probably do some triples, doubles, and singles that you know would be challenging, but that you are confident you can get good clean reps with. I think in doing so you'd give your nervous system the heavy stimulus it needs without wearing it out. As for your light days, it seems like you're progression has hit the point where the days are no longer so light. I'm nor sure if it'd be best to keep that going or to start something new on the light days. | |

TNG Bench Warmups 385 3x3
Close Grip Bench 225x8 275x5x2
Notes: The third rep of the third set at 385 was one of the ugliest grinding pieces of shit i've ever done lol. Very soft lockout, but whatever.

Squat Warmups to 415 without wraps Wraps 445x1 475x2 PR
Notes: The second rep was sketchy as fuck. Lost balance a little at the top of the first and didn't get it back. Going down on the second was shakey and all over the place, but I still think depth was good and the fear of falling down made me come up super fast. Was also in a hurry to get down to Riverside to eat the buffet and try get lucky at the casino. No luck was there.
