12/1

TNG Bench
Warmups
255x10,10,10,10,12

Band pushdowns with the green band.

Notes: LOL. I was winded after the second set. Strength didn't really seem to suffer, but 52 reps is about 20 more than I've done in a long time. This is going to be a fun experience.

Just having the new stimulus of all the rep work will probably be good for your bench. Chances are we see some hyper trophies as well Wink

12/2

Squat
Warmups
5x10 @ 275

Notes. LOLOLOL. Fucking cardio. Also, 5 pounds more than I was supposed to do because I forgot to look at the spreadsheet before I headed out. Brian Collins let me use his knee sleeves. There was little chance of me getting through this without something on my knees. Definitely buying some soon. Before the belt.

12/3

OHP
Warmups
5x10 @ 165 (12 on the 5th set)

Notes: Went well actually. I think I'm beginning to get used to the volume. Glad to be overhead pressing again.

12/9

Squat
250x5
285x5
3x10 @ 305 (13 on third set)

extensions and curls

fucked around with that stupid ass reverse hyper thing. Dumb.

Notes: First day with my new Elite FTS knee sleeves. Really happy I bought them. I think they are going to help me immensely to continue to progress this new found love of the squat.

12/16

Had to combine my bench and squat day due to finals. School is getting in the way of training. This is not okay. College is bullshit and I hate it.

Bench
210x5
255x3
295x1
315x8 Failed 9th. Was supposed to get 10. Adjustments apparently need to be made.

Squat
225x5
270x3
315x1
340x10

Notes: My bench sucks balls.

OHP on Wednesday was fucking pitiful and I'm not going to put up what I did.

12/18

Deadlifts
265x5
315x3
370x1
395x12

Notes: I blame most of my pressing difficulties on it being finals week, so I don't think I'm going to bring the training max down. I probably should, but I'm arrogant with my pressing and I refuse to believe I'm not strong enough to handle it. For the other two lifts, I think I'm finally learning how to push them. I've always quit long before I needed to, and now I'm being able to push through what my brain thinks is hard and do what my body is capable of. I am excited to continue to see improvements.

12/19

Bench
Warmups
315x10
360x5
400x1

Notes: Decided to try 315 again after failing like a bitch on Tuesday. Went well. 11 would have been a super grind if it did go, but 10 felt much better in part to having more sleep and more food in me as compared to Tuesday when I had 3 finals in 24 hours, very little sleep, and not enough food. Definitely going to keep the press training maxes the same. I think improvements will be seen in this next phase of the juggernaut.

12/22

TNG Bench
Warmups
5x8 @ 275 (13 on the 5th set)

DB Fly
8x70,70,80,80

Tricep pushdowns

Dips

Notes: 275 was super easy. I think this phase is going to go well for me. I feel adjusted to the volume, and with the time to eat and sleep being restored I should see the gainz I expect.

The 8s and 5s phases were the most fun for me. 3s sucked, but mostly because I was doing 7x3 or whatever with wraps and it took like three fucking hours.

12/23

Squats
Warmups
5x8 @ 295 (10 on the last set)

Extensions, reverse hyper a bit

Notes: Squatting for volume is painful and tiring.

I'm all about those 3 hour sessions. I can't wait.

12/30

Squat
3x270

Notes: Was only supposed to do 330 on the 3x8, but apparently I can't read numbers.
