who's interested?
some experienced olympic lifters (Bryan, Sydra, Poage, oly club members are happy to help teach Oly lifts)
Chris might be interested in performing a one-handed snatch. More to come.

Training Sessions
Don't forget, sessions are Monday and Friday 4-6 in Olympic lifting room in field house. Stop on by!!

If you're interested in competing this fall, now's the time to start thinking as they're coming up pretty fast
If you don't have a lot of experience, our intramural meet is coming up in February. You can start training now. It's a fricken blast.

I'm down for teaching weightlifting stuff if I have time. We might want to think about a crossover session with the weightlifting club if we can swing that; they teach us how to do their lifts and we teach them how to bench.

I'm still trying to find out if we can get the range. I'll be in contact over that either way. Otherwise we can go out to the Hawkeye range. The RO can be kind of a jerk, but it's better than not having him there.

Regarding the 22nd Street meeting: I can do Sunday, but unfortunately I've got work at 1:30. Now, I can help set something up, but I might not be able to attend.
