Well, that's the trade-off. For at least the last couple of years, I've lived a boring existence; little in the way of bad food, very few (if any) late nights out, regular eight hours of sleep (with some exceptions, at least when it couldn't be helped), no drugs or drinking whatsoever, regular meal times, etc. Basically, living like an imprisoned Chinese twelve-year-old wunderkind athlete.

But you will feel better and be more productive in training. The downside is that it's not exactly fun. Maybe you can start by being a little bit more moderate in whatever you're doing on these weekends, so that your training at least doesn't suffer in a negative manner. In other words, baby steps.

I agree completely. I don't even go out that often but when I do I can definitely feel the difference in my training. I need to start making better decisions on the weekends.

That being said, I made a bet with my buddy Chirs (he came to a powerlifting meeting once, you might have seen me talking to him at the gym) that I would bench 300 before him. The winner gets 24 buffalo wings and a handle of jack daniels...sooo ya.

Not you, Anderson. Besides, after all the gains you had at chipotle tonight you can probably bench 300 right now.
