What are people shooting for?
I'd like to total 1350 at this one. The safest route for that would be a 490 squat, 292 bench press, and 568 deadlift.
If I have a spectacular day, I could probably go as high as a 502 squat, 298 bench press, and 573 deadlift, but I'll be very happy if I break 1350.
What are you guys looking to do? I'm interested in who's going to break our existing records.

A PR total is always the goal, which would be anything higher than a 1229. Specifically, I want to get 1275+, and the very minimum I could total and go away with and not hate myself is 1250. 1330 (500 squat, 280 bench, 550 deadlift) would be my go-for-broke total.
A 1275 total would put me into the top 15 for the HS/Teen Top 100 Rankings in NASA, and 1300 should put me in the top 10. 1330 would likely put me above Chris O'Rourke, making me the top HS/Teen lifter in the state.

I'd like to total at least 1100. This would be at least a 350 squat, a 250 bench, and a 500 deadlift. I've hit the squat and bench in the gym, the only thing missing is the deadlift, which I know I am close too. My go for broke goal would be 1150. This would be a 370 squat, 275 bench press, and 505 deadlift.

I'd like to total 1351 at this one. The safest route for that would be a 490 squat, 292 bench press, and 569 deadlift.

If you come back with another low-1200s meet, you should just quit powerlifting. 1250+ or death, I say.

1250 now, maybe 1400+ by this time next year.

I think you've definitely got 1100+ in you. I know I keep saying this, but once you figure your bench press out, you're going to be benching 275+ in competition.

Looking forward to that 292 bench press.

As of right now, I'm planning on opening at somewhere around 452-243-502, and then moving to 480-264-529 for my second attempts, for a 1273 total. My thirds will probably be around 491-276-535 for 1302.
I may adjust my squat/bench attempts a few kilos up or down, but I think my deadlift is pretty locked in; I'm almost always good for three pulls and 535 should be very makeable. I also want to set myself up for the possibility of a 4th attempt on either the squat or deadlift.
The last two weeks of this training cycle will give me a pretty good idea of what I'm capable of. I'm planning to work up to an opener on all three lifts around Monday or Tuesday the week of the meet, depending on where my weight is. I'm going to start weighing myself more often to make sure I'm on track to make weight; hopefully this can be my second ever meet in which I don't have to cut.

My back is still phucking with me. I am not going to squat until it is completely better because it's pointless to try to train through it. It's been messed up for 2.5 months and I have made basically zero progress. Idk if it will mess up my deads but assuming it doesn't I want to go ???/358+/628+ and whey in at the most 215

Very cool. Also of note is that #3 on that list has a sister who goes to school here and told me he's interested in coming down here to train sometime.

So I posted awhile ago about my goals for the meet, but after seeing how my lifts have changed my goals have changed some as well. Totaling 1100 is still a goal to be achieved, but I think I definitely have more than that. 1125 would be awesome. This would be a 353 squat, 292 bench press, and 480 deadlift. These are pretty much my PR's from the last time I tested them, that ranging from a month and a half to a couple weeks ago. A go for broke goal for me would be totaling 1175. This would be hitting a 369 squat, 303 bench press, and a 502 deadlift. Needless to say I'm ready to redeem myself after not being satisfied with the July meet.

I've decided to change this to something like this:
This would give me two PR's and a PR total with my second attempts, and a potential top-10 coefficient (Teen/HS rankings) if I hit all my thirds. The only lift I'm fairly worried about is my squat.

The squat is the only lift that you might be ambitious with here, Chris. Even then, I think 480 is a pretty reasonable third attempt. I'm still messing around with my attempts to figure out the safest path to 1350, and it seems I'm about 10 lbs. from making it easy on myself. So, I might need a difficult lift or two to get there.

Yeah I'm not super confident in my squat as of right now. But a double at 440 isn't bad, and I think that with some rest and enough caffeine (read: wildly illegal amounts) I could get it. Only getting 462 would still keep me in decent position for 1300 though.

Well, don't put pressure on yourself to set the world afire with your squat. Just make sure you're not leaving 30+ lbs. on the platform; if you can do that, then you'll have a good chance at 1300.
