Real talk, was this to depth? It's hard to tell.

Can't tell. Your entire midsection is a black blob of shirt and shorts...

That's what I kind of figured.

10/15-

Press-
7x3@160

Rows-
8x5@185

Curlz x100
Band pull aparts x100

Notes: No belt or wraps on the overhead work today because I'm pretty sure the thumb loop on my left wrist wrap is about to shred apart. It's pretty damn close. Did some light stuff just to keep me feeling good.

10/16-

Deadlift-
3x3@455
3x3@370

45* back raises
Abzzzz

Notes: I should really do more ab work throughout the cycle. Also, my deadlift is fucking awful.

10/17-

Bench-
260x2
245x3
225x5
185x12

Cable rows- a lot
Cable shoulder rotator cuff thingies- a bunch

Notes: I decided to do something like a pyramid on bench today. I might do this more often. I kind of like it. Video of 260 to come.

Oly shoe squat-
315x3
345x2
365x2
385x1
Wraps on
405x8

Pullups- a bunch
Dimel deadlift- a lot

Notes: 405x8 is a PR. I probably left another rep in the tank as well. Video to come. I'm gonna up my 3rd attempt to 507.

10/21-

Deadlift-
485x2
3x3@405

Mid-shin block pulls-
3x3@455

GHR- some

Notes: I did a couple sets of decline situpz as well, but for some reason my abz have been sore as living hell the past week, so they weren't having it. The double at 485 was decent. I need to do more mid-shin work, as I am incredibly weak from that position. This will be an emphasis on my next training cycle.

10/22-

Press-
5x3@175

Pullups- a bunch
Dips- a bunch

Notes: I'm going for 225 in place of my AMRAP next week.

10/24-

Bench-
250x3
3x10@185

Lat pulldowns- a bunch
Band pull-aparts- a bunch

Notes: Trying to get a video uploaded from yesterday's squat session. We will see if this works.

From yesterday:

10/23-
Squat-
5x3@390
415x1
435x1
455x1

Abz

Notes: I hate wrapping for work sets. Marathon squat sessions are the worst.

10/25-

Oly shoe squat-

4x2@315
350x1
365x1

GHR
Abzz

Notes: Abz, GHR, and mid-shin block pulls are going to be huge staples in my next training cycle. I really have no excuse for neglecting them so much.

So apparently a 14 year old has liked our Facebook page. I won't post anything due to privacy concerns, but he has several pictures of him flexing and one in which he is showing off his abzzzz and flipping off the camera. They are all selfies taken in the mirror, obvi.

I guess it's time to start marketing ourselves towards kids.

So this kid was at the meet. He bombed out on squat, taking of his knee wraps for his third attempt. He wasn't close on any of them. I have no idea who was coaching the kid, but goddam at least give the kid some advice on attempts.

Anyway:

10/27-

Deadlift-
440x1
470x1
510x2
3x3@425

Pullups
GHR/reverse hyper/back raise superset

Notes: Was going to do some abzzz but some faggotrons were using the decline bench in the smith machine (I use the decline bench to do my abzzz), so I just left.

I was finally able to get a decent bar to pull with today, and it made a world of difference. Every single set felt faster and more "right" than it has this entire training cycle. I'm set to pull 525x2 next week, and that will put be in great position to pull 550+ again. With the right about of rest, I may take a stab at something around 568.
