10/29-

Press-
fuckx5
shitx5
assholex3
bitchx2
dickx1
bullettothechestx1
killmenowx1
whenwillitbemyturnx1
ihatemylifex0

ragex15x1

Pullups- some

Notes: Had to step in and stop this guy from "teaching" deadlifts to these three girls. The one that I used to demonstrate ended up getting decent technique after five minutes. The girls were actually thankful and 'mirin, the guy stood there like a little bitch as I showed how much of a beta he was. The guy was a chubberz but didn't look like he lifted, and was 1/4 squatting 275 with the bitch pad.

I've actually never been in the Misc other than if a random thread gets linked or something. I'm just a fan of hyperbole.

Hahahaha hilarious. So if people like your fb page can you see their whole profile? I've always wondered about that.

So apparently a 14 year old has liked our Facebook page. I won't post anything due to privacy concerns, but he has several pictures of him flexing and one in which he is showing off his abzzzz and flipping off the camera. They are all selfies taken in the mirror, obvi.

I guess it's time to start marketing ourselves towards kids.

No, I just don't think he had his profile set to private. I mean, the kid couldn't be any older than 15.

10/31-

Squat-
135x5
225x5
285x3
320x2
355x1
380x1
Wraps on
405x1
425x7

GHR- 5x10

Notes: This was done in my weighlifting shoes, and I have decided I'm going to compete in them. I put a lot into the last set and I just sat on the platform for a good ten minutes before I went anywhere, haha. I just sat there, rolling my wraps back up and waiting for my hearing to come back.

Video:

Depth was iffy on a few of these (the first and fifth ones were almost definitely high, IIRC), but just handling this much weight for this many reps is huge for me. I'm peaking just in time, I think--beating myself up during the cycle has warranted a lot of rest, and I'm starting to get it now.

11/1-

Bench-
265x4

Notes: This was pretty disappointing. I really wanted five, although four still puts me in good position to bench 303 at the meet. I don't feel like this was a strength issue at all--my shoulder has been bothering me for some reason the last week and a half, and my back started cramping as I set up my arch. I should have just waited until I felt better to do the set. Oh well.

Also, I need to do more abdominals. I'm going to dedicate one day a week to running/situps for my next cycle. PT is too important in the Army for me to neglect it, and Uncle Sam kinda pays my bills.

Bill Carpenter has decided to waive the team entry for us at this meet. I think I just found what federation I'm sticking with.

11/5-

Deadlift-
135x5
225x4
315x3
365x2
405x1
465x1
505x1
535x1

Pullups- some
BLB superset

Notes: This was a good session overall. I wasn't super happy with the speed on the 535 pull, but everything else was good. Having a decent bar makes worlds of difference--my last two deadlift sessions have been the best of the entire cycle. 535 is my planned second attempt, and I'm glad I worked up that heavy today. This is my last heavy pulling session. I might do some really light work next week, but I'm more likely to just take the entire week off. I only have two more training sessions this week.

They aren't nearly as short as my singlet will be. Cool

No, but I have found a direct correlation between the amount of quadz I grace the crowd with and how much I can deadlift.

Exhibit A:

Singlet is completely covering my quadz, and I'm even wearing a shirt. IN A MEET! Self cringe at its best.

Exhibit B:

Quadz+baby powder+high quality camera angles=gainz.

11/6-

Bench-
45x5
95x5
135x5
165x3
185x3
205x2
225x1
245x1
265x1
285x1

Curlz
Plate front raises
Abz
Band pull-aparts

Notes: This was a pretty good session. My back cramped up during the second rep with 205, but a bit of lacrosse ball rolling plus some static stretching helped a lot and it didn't flare up again. 265 and 285 are essentially my opener and second attempt (264 and 287), and they both felt pretty good. The speed was right where I need it to be. This is my last heavy bench session.

I decided I am going to add in a light bench and squat session early next week. I want to take a lot of time off, but I can't take 10+ days off from using these motor patterns at all. My deadlift, however, will get a lot of rest, and I'm not going to pull at all until the meet. I'm just going to continue doing GHR's along with a lot of low back work and abz every day (this is mainly for my PT score Sad). I will work up to about 60% or so on these sessions--no heavier.

11/8-

Squat-
135x5
225x5
275x3
belt on
315x2
365x2
wraps on
405x1
445x1
475x1

BLBSSx5

Notes: 475 was slower than I liked as I got a bit forward and hit a sticking point out of the hole, but it was okay. This is my last heavy squat day. I think I will come in on Sunday or Monday and do a really light bench and squat day.

Weighed myself at 180 today. I had two burritos from Chipotle last night and drank about 1.5 gallons of water.

...165, here I come?

The scary part is that I actually could. Maybe this coming spring.
