Alex Hugi is also going 181. Openers: 375 squat, 235 bench, 420 deadlift.
I dont think I have ever met Alex Hugi before. In that case, going for the bench then

Sounds like Alex is stronger than I am right now, depending on how tough those openers are for him. We've never met. Hopefully he falls off the face of the earth and doesn't show so that I can dominate 181 and add some more photos to my signature.

Also by the way I haven't lifted anything close to a hypothetical 1RM in months, so I am pretty ill-prepared to do a meet. Juggernaut has been great for reestablishing a foundation to work from, though. We'll see once I hit that 3 rep wave.

I wouldn't sweat it. You've still got about five weeks to ramp up an intensification phase. Hell, Roy Williams couldn't squat within 200 lbs of what he did at his meet because the bars he used in training were too small.

How far out from the meet is the three rep phase? I'm assuming you will establish your openers from that phase.

For some reason your sig only shows up in the logs. Better contact our Web Master.

I don't always check the box to attach it. It's a habit from a forum that I used to visit.. they had a rule about sigs being a once-per-page max thing... I guess for reasons of bandwidth but also because it's obnoxious to see the same one 10 times in a row.
