| it looks like you relax your lumbar to hit depth and that your knees are not locked out | |

| 2/28, noon session-
Deadlift, accumulation week 4
Block pulls, two inches below knee cap- 5x3@425
Deficit deadlift, off of a 45lb bumper plate- 4x5, 1x4@365
Notes: Really focused on trying to keep my lumbar in good position throughout the day. I feel like I did a really good job with this on the block pulls, and an "okay" job while deficit pulling. Grip went to shit on the last couple reps of deficit pulls, so I called it after four on the last set. Video to come.
2/28, afternoon session-
Bench press active deload, week one
Fat gripz bench- Work up to 275x3 2x8@225
Inverted rows- 5x10
Notes: I kind of like inverted rows as another lat movement. I will rotate them in every now and then.
Every lift is now ready for a deload. After next week, I being the intensification phase for everything.

| 3/2-
Bench active deload, week two
Bench-
44x5 89x5 111x5 132x5 176x3 198x3 218x3 242x3 262x7 2x8@220
Ring pullups- a lot, mostly in between bench sets Overhead tricep extensions w/band- a ton Curlz- some
Notes: So 262x7 beats the hell out of my 265x5 rep PR from a while back, and I had at least two more reps in the tank--this set was easy as hell. I widened my grip out a little bit further and we will see where this gets me. I think it will be helpful in the long run. My elbow felt great all day today. I did more band traction before benching and I think doing a pulling movement in between each set helped a bit, too. After that, it was just some isolation work.

| 3/3-
Squat deload
Squat- 3x5@240
Paused deadlifts- 3x3@225 2x3@275
HS low rows- 3x8
Notes: Really focused on my upper back on this session, seeing as the weights were light anyway. Wide stance is feeling better and better. Sitting back more is working well.

| Yes, I go to the Field House when I train now. It's much closer to my apartment--about ten minutes versus 25 minutes to walk. The weights area is up on the 5th floor. | |

| 4/7/14
Squat deload
Squat- 2x5@315
Safegy bar squat- 3x3@"225"
Pullups- a bunch
Notes: Almost died on the first set of 315 when I fucked up the rerack on the monolift. This is what I get for walking it out. Second set felt a lot faster and I paused the last rep. I was tired the entire time and honestly I felt my eyes shutting and could have gone to sleep in between sets.

Notes: Just benched and then did the seminar. I am a tired man--I have been pulling 12 hour days (or longer) since Tuesday. Thanks, Iowa National Guard.
Excited to get back to heavy work. Video to come.
