Even though I was going for a 10lb PR I had no business missing 275lbs. It truly pissed me off. I haven't stop training but I've been really irresponsible with my recovery for the pass few weeks, going out and getting hammered pretty much every night (including last night) and only sleeping a few hours here and there. That lift was almost there and it makes me mad because it felt like if I would've been well rested I would've smoke it.
Anyways, this is good. I needed this to happen to remind that I don't train just for fun but to achieve goals. This fail attempt is what I needed to get my ass back on track. 275 will fall before the end of January.

I was shooting for 405 by the end of January but I was feeling good today so decided to PR. I asked myself WWRKD (What Would Reckless Kyle Do)? and went for it. Next immediate goal is 440, but now I'm training for that 500lb squat.

My goal for the year was to total 1100lbs and with my squat PR and this deadlift PR my total went up to 1130lbs. Feeling pretty good. I'm starting to feel like a real powerlifter.

Today was my first day back to training. I didn't stop lifting during the break but I was doing more conditioning than powerlifting stuff. I'm back to 5/3/1. Today went surprisingly well, I thought I was not going to be able to lift since I'm getting over the flu.
I need to get rid of all the fat I gained during break eating delicious meals back home.

Paused Bench Press 5x92.5kg (205lbs) 3x105kg (230lbs) 4x115kg (254lbs) I believed this was a rep PR. These felt really good, I had Sam giving me the "press" command on those.
