I'm the sort of weirdo that finds powerlifting meets exciting to watch.

I can't watch a full meet without getting bored. Ill watch any sport that involves strength or speed and I really don't ever care who wins. I think that's miles apart from how most people watch sports as fans or whatever. I just like seeing the movement patterns. Not concerned with strategy either. Makes me the weirdo

GPA Worlds will be great. The big international meets are only getting better now that the best lifters are traveling more frequently to them.

You mean you guys aren't on the edge of your seats for every 10 hour long Supertraining meet?

I get nervous when I watch other people lift, but that usually passes after the squats. That train-wreck of a ST meet in which most everyone missed the majority of their squats was one of those.

Hartman pulled 610x2 today. Previous PR was 605. I don't think he can catch John Haack at this UPA meet--unless John seriously struggles--but he might end up giving him a bit of a scare.

So how many Iowans are we going to have at RUM? Provided I progress as expected, we will have Kyle, Janis, Nate, Jake Hartman, Wes Keith, and myself all qualifying, and likely more. Alison Speltz should surely qualify, and I think Jannett Chavez can too.

Mendelson would have built a big youtube following if he got in on it in his prime.

THIS is what we need in powerlifting. People lifting things that are on fire.
Powerlifting needs to be less PC and more WWE
