It's pretty crazy that he squats 955 one week, then 1000 the next, and his technique doesn't break. High squats or not, he is the most stable squatter with insane weights of just about anyone I've ever seen. I don't remember seeing another 900+ lb. raw squatter looking as relaxed coming down with a weight, and it's the same when he competes multi-ply. Most multi-ply guys look like they're going to die when they unrack 1000+, but he has attempted 1300 a bunch of times and it never looks hard. He just always blows it on depth.

It's like watching Robert Wilkerson squat ass to cankles and still be above parallel.
And Henry Thomason has competed everywhere. He's even done close to a half-dozen USAPL meets, and he hasn't bombed on squat in any of them. The high squats are a bad habit, but he can make it if he really tries.
