Notes: Anterior delts and clavicles finally had enough of front squatting so I decided to test the waters on squats. 405 wasn't too slow and was pretty fluid, but it felt like I forgot how to recruit my hamstrings after not squatting in over a month. I need to start pressing again because the last couple of sets were harder than they should have been.
Front Squat 3x1x225 2x1x250 275, 300, 315 335 Failx2x350 3x1x275
Ring Dips 25, 15, 10
Notes: The 405 LB squat I did the other day was probably an RPE of 7 or so, but I woke up a little achy in my lower back and it didn't feel muscular in origin, so I may hold off on them for a while and continue front squatting since I didn't see a real decline in my LB squat strength. 365 by New Year's is probably the goal.
High Bar Squat 3x225 2x250 3x275 300, 315, 335, 365, 385, 400 3x1x405 5x1x315 7x3x275
BTN Jerk 3x1x185 3x1x200
Rack Pull 3x1x505
Ring Dips 20 4x8
Ring Pull Ups 3x5
Notes: High bar squatting goes a lot more smoothly when I actually push my knees out and forward instead of sitting back. I think front squatting the past month or so has really improved my quad strength because the last two sets were just as fast as my 405 low bar squats. Does this mean I should just switch to high bar? I hope not. Rack pulls felt kind of off, maybe because I was still in my oly shoes or maybe because I haven't worked my lower back in a while.

Yeah, it kind of reinforces sitting down as opposed to sitting back too which my high bar squat and front squat were kind of lacking.
I got ya. That is something I may start incorporating since I will be messing around with high bar. One of those things that is logical but I have never thought of #bonehead
