dick joke wat You'll do fine. Just stick to your plan(s) and take what's there on meet day. The training has been great and all you have to do now is set yourself up for success by making good calls.

| I like where this is going.
Oh, and I forgot to log my PT test:
Pushups- 60 (stopped early) Situps- 56 (stopped early) 2 mile run- 15:25 (wanted to stop early)
I took about 50 seconds off of my run time without running once since the last PT test. Maybe running on a fucking 27 lap track is what hurt my time so much last month. Anyway, this will get me promoted to Specialist and I'll be put in the E-5 slot right away. I'll be sent to WLC ASAP and I could make Sergeant within a year.

| So I applied for a job at GNC. I figured any job that pays me to take money from people like Slapdick is the dream job for me. | |

You realize that you will actually have to talk and be nice to people, right?

| 4/14-
Accumulation block, week one, heavy effort bench
Bench- 255x8 3x10@225, narrower grip each set
Dips- BWx10 25x10 5x10@45 BWx25
Barbell rows- 4x10@185
DOH barbell holds- 3x10s @315
Notes: First day back. Bench felt good. My heavy effort days will primarily be just working up to something kind of heavy anywhere from 3-8 reps, and then backing off for more rep work, with some kind of variation. These variations will include different grips, long pauses, Fat Gripz, whatever. Total number of lifts will stay mostly the same throughout this block, with intensity slowly rising up.
Once I get a spreadsheet for my training cycle, I'll do a little write up for what I'll be doing for the next eight weeks.

| 4/15-
Accumulation block W1, heavy effort deadlift
Deadlift- 455x5
1.5" deficit deadlift- 3x5@365
Close stance, high bar squat- 3x10@225, with very loose belt
Leg press- pyramid up to 5ppsx10 and back down
Notes: Glute wasn't feeling the best during the deficit pulls, so I cut it down from sets of 8 to sets of 5. Had to keep my hips lower and initiate more with quadz. Squatting with quadz sucks. This was kind of a "leg day" for me.

| 4/17-
W1 accum, bench rep effort
Fat gripz bench- 4x6@225, first/last rep paused for 3 count
Pullups- 5x5, 1x10, various grips, most sets with fat gripz
HS incline press- 3x12, last set with fat gripz
Overhead cable tricep extentions- 5x10
Notes: Good bodybuilding style day for me. Fat gripz pullups were hard but not overly so, I will include them more often to get some more grip work in while doing lats. Overhead tricep extensions are quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

Accum W1 heavy effort squat
Squat- 145x5 235x5 285x3 belt on 325x3 briefs on 375x3 415x3 suit on, straps down 465x1 straps up 505x1 wraps on 555x1 595x1 650x0
Notes: Went to Magni Barbell here in Iowa City today and decided to gear up and have some fun. 650 was a very close miss and I just barely drifted forward and got out of the groove. I just need to learn the gear a bit more and it will be an easy lift. A full training cycle with this stuff and I hit 700.
I'll probably train at Magni on the weekends now, and I'll lift there full-time once the semester is over. They have a ton of awesome equipment, including actual squat bars and deadlift bars, an EFS monolift, a yoke, farmer carry handles, and they're getting more and more weight and equipment, too. Should be a great place to train.
Video to come. | |

Equipped bench
Bench- 45x5 95x5 135x5 165x5
wrist wraps on 185x3 205x3 225x3 245x1
slingshot on 275x1 295x1 315x1
shirt on 315x3, 3 board 365x2, 3 board 405x1, 3 board 365x2, 3 board then 2 board 390x1, 2 board
Notes: First ever session in a bench shirt. I'll have to keep getting experience with it and keep breaking it in. I'll get in the shirt every Saturday and just keep working up heavier and to lower boards until I can touch.

| Yesterday-
4/21-
W2 accum, deadlift HE
Deadlift- 465x3
Notes: Was really slow today and the glute started acting up around 365 or so. I suppose I should have just dropped the weight and done some rep work, but I wasn't having a good day overall and decided to cut my losses and just leave. Oh well, bad days happen.

| It's possible. Between missing 650 in the suit and the overal strain of being in the shirt, I probably have some CNS black death plague going on. | |

W2 accum, bench RE
Close Fat Gripz bench, 3 count pause at bottom and top- 45x5 95x5 135x5 165x5 185x5 205x5 4x5@230 245x2 265x2 275x2 285x2
Dips- 5x15, BW
Fat gripz pullups- 4x5, varying grips 1x10, super wide grip, no fat gripz
CoC static holds, 10 second hold, 5 second eccentric- 5xeach hand
Notes: It's humid as fuck and some other guy in the apartment build turned on his A/C, so I did, too. Lots of TuT today, and 285x2 is actually a PR. 275x2 was probably a paused PR, as I've hit it touch-and-go a couple cycles ago.
