I guess I will. I went to do it then I saw Jake Hartman's 600 video. I was discouraged. Then I read Kevin's log and felt like more of a child.

Notes: Went pretty well. One bench session left. Also, weighed 227.8 on my scale at home tonight after I got home. This scale was very accurate relative to the CRWC this summer, so I'm hoping this is a good sign for attempting to cut next week.

Dalty must've forgot about the squat bar. I guess that also makes the 455 actually 465.

| I guess I could make some sort of post-meet wrap up post.
1455 total: 396 bench, 535 squat, 524 deadlift
I had the UPA meet in Dubuque this past Sunday. I weighed in at 217 Saturday morning. The cut wasn't bad at all, but I think I have much to learn in the recomp category due to the fact I was 221 when I got home Sunday night. As far as the lifting goes it had its ups and downs. Squat impressed me, bench made me want to cry, and deadlift was about what I expected. I let Sam call all of my second and third attempts. The only place I regret it is on bench. No one knows my bench better than I do. I should have made the calls on that, but he knew what I wanted to hit and gave me two chances to do it but it just wasn't there. I didn't know what I was squatting after my opener and it ended with a 50 lb PR, so that worked out. What he picked for deadlift was good as well. I was just fucking spent by the time I tried 545 that it just didn't happen.
Overall it was a great experience. I plan to do plenty more UPA meets in the future. The atmosphere is great, and, although long, it runs smoothly. I didn't shit the bed and I have a total to improve on for the future. Next time I will handle the recomp, the night before, and the day itself better.
I appreciate the help I got from Josh and Sam. They were both great supporters throughout the day even through me being pissy and bitchy.

| Obviously haven't been logging on here since the UPA meet, but I have my reasons (MY BENCH FUCKING SUCKS RIGHT NOW AND I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE OTHER TWO).
Anywhoooo... I'm actually going to do a real program. I've never followed a program before, and I think i'm getting to a point where I need to learn how to do this if I want to continue to get better. I'm mostly doing it just so I can find out what works for me, and not try to PR every Friday. My body is telling me to fuck off, so I need to get away from the heavy shit for awhile. I'm going to run juggernaut. Kyle mentioned it as something to potentially try and Chris has done it before, so I'll have someone to help me not fuck it up entirely hopefully. Looking at it now it seems like something I won't hate, which is the main thing for me. Maybe this will be a good program for me, maybe it won't, but its a program and thats a step in the right direction for me.
I'll start logging again tomorrow. Hopefully not yelling about hating the greatest movement known to man.

| I think you and me switched bodies. I'm currently hating squat and loving bench.
I think I saw this in a movie once. We have to go pee in a fountain and switch bodies again. Dalty pls
