Notes: Absolutely smoked 420, with high bar no less, after grinding it out as an opener for the meet. Add this to the list of reasons why I am never going 148 again.

Weight cuts aren't as big an advantage in powerlifting as they are in other weight-class based sports, because you can't really get away with being at anything less than full strength. I used to cut weight for wrestling in high school, and I'd win matches even when I felt lethargic if there was a gap in ability. I tried the same thing for my first powerlifting meet and bombed. Lesson learned.

Yeah, I feel like its hard to be at your very best if you were very depleted the day before. Do you think the 24 hour weigh in instead of 12ish made a difference for you?

I've always felt good on the evening-before weigh-ins, so it's hard to say exactly. I don't know if I felt a lot better, but I was more relaxed because I didn't have to cram everything down quickly. Having the day just to chill out and think about the meet instead of eating dinner and spending the night rehydrating was a lot easier. Some people from 22nd Street said I looked noticeably different 24 hours later (and I competed at my highest bodyweight ever), so maybe it did help.
Just his current vids and forum. He's turning his attention to the 40+ crowd after getting his identity revealed by 4chan. My question is why did this take so long? He's got a very distinctive look; I would imagine it would be hard for him to go incognito in public.
Notes: Right quad felt funky after yesterday so I took the day off to work on some deadlifts and PC. After last meet, I think I really need to start working on deadlifts...and bench...and press...and still squat a lot...phuck.
