| Wait, scratch #3. Sudan's notorious for making you lose gains, so watch your ass, Kyle. | |

| Sudan? Are you going to be a freedom fighter in Darfur? It's dangerous to go alone, take this. | |

| Yeah, I'm leaving on the 13th and I'm staying for a month. I'm going to do some work over there and hopefully get out of Khartoum once or twice. I don't know how much training I'm going to get done, though. | |

| Status update: I'm still in Khartoum, and I'm in terrible shape. Recent training highlights include the following;
Squat 220x8
Deadlift 396 x1 (easy) 440xFx2
Bench 176x6 220x1
Overhead press 90x7,,6,6
All of these were done without a belt, btw. I get to train 1-3 times a week depending on my schedule and transportation. I recently started going to a gym with a squat rack that isn't completely filled with asshats. It's pretty far away, but it's worth the trip. I weigh around 180 lbs these days, down 15 lbs from when I left Iowa. The good news is that I don't have malaria yet. The bad news is that I don't have malaria...yet.

Was unaware that Nasser's death was malaria related. I thought his terminal swoliosis finally got the best of him. By the way, in a week, I'll be leaving for China. I'll be there for 3 weeks. I think my training situation will be a bit better over there.

| I was wrong, my training situation isn't any better here. I can't find a reasonably priced place to train here. None of you know of any good gyms in Guangzhou, do you? | |

Beijing, but that's far north of here, and I don't think they'd let me train with them. There should be at least one quality weightlifting club, considering this is China's third largest city.

| I'd just like to point out to Grant, in light of our upcoming showdown, that the last lifter I buried wound up so distraught that he quit lifting and fled the country to Sudan, and now China. NOTICE SERVED. | |
